Use .NET on your VPS
You can use the version of .NET you want on your VPS without any problems.
You will typically use .NET together with IIS on your VPS.
Note: You must select the "Hosting Bundle" (Windows) version when you download e.g. .NET 6 or .NET 7 if you want to use .NET version 6 or version 7 together with IIS / Websites.
