There is Remote Desktop (RDP) administrator access to your server and you can install / configure software and services as you see fit, making it possible to host special applications, such as accounting or CRM systems, not suitable for shared hosting.

More control

Your virtual server includes Remote Desktop (RDP) access, which means you have full control over your VPS. You can restart your server using an online controlpanel, start and stop services, install 3rd party software and use your VPS to run multiple applications or websites.

Save money

A VPS is more expensive compared to a shared hosting account, however by hosting all your websites on a virtual server you are able to save money compared to paying for many shared hosting accounts.

Higher safety compared to shared hosting

Shared hosting does not offer the same level of security as a VPS. Your virtual server is assigned a dedicated IP address and using Windows Firewall, you can restrict access to your server and websites to only be accessible from specific IP addresses, etc.

Better performance

Using shared hosting your website performance is influenced by how many other websites that use the resources of the shared hosting server. A VPS is your own private server, used only by you and you decide which websites and applications you choose to host on your server.
